I was a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community years before I knew my daughter was gay. It's not even a question, it's the right thing to do. You'd want equal rights too, if you were part of a marginalized group, fighting for equality.

Same. And so glad I was because my daughter came to me when she was 10 to tell me she was bi. Friends say how great it was she was confident enough to do that, and she was, but I did the work to make sure no matter what her sexuality she would always know she would be accepted and to accept others.
LGBTTTQQIAP* rights are human rights. If we don't help each other up, all we are doing is holding each other down - and it ALWAYS impacts us personally.
It would be great if this conversation never had to happen but weak minded people cannot comprehend people that do not look or act like they feel they should. They cannot see the value different people add to this country. They are upset that we are no longer on X. How will the feel when we r gone
