Never too late for us senior dogs to learn new tricks. We've advised marine life to keep their clothes on, now that you can see them underwater. 😂

Oh gosh. That paints quite the picture! 🙃I I learned in a YMCA pool where there at least 60 boys nd girls jumping around having a blast. I had private lessons but everyone was in the pool together.

I’d like to tackle a similar useful

I’ll continue hobbies of course. But “breathing” under water gave
me a sense of accomplishment that I realized there are many more challenges for me to face.

Simple things I learned as an adult: tie my shoes differently than I learned as a child so that the bow lays sideways on the top; and to eat with my fork in the left hand and knife in the right instead of the American way of switching utensils to the dominant hand. Silly stuff.

Exactly. I paid for 4
lessons and she wanted to work on strokes, etc. I know my various strokes cuz I used nose plugs. Every time we met I just wanted to practice putting my face in the water. It’s been nearly a year and I still feel pride in that accomplishment. 🏊‍♀️

I love this so much!! Good for you! I did the Danskin Triathlon about 20 years ago. Sally Edwards, an Ironman champ, was the spokesperson. Her line was “ When was the last time you did something for the first time?” I still try to do new things. I’m 67.
