I LOVE in character journaling. I should get back to doing it for games. It’s a lot of fun to have a record of what a character is feeling and a GREAT way for me to remember what my character knows vs what I know as a player ☺️
In my first ever D&D campaign the GM joked that I had to write a fey contract to negotiate for my character’s boyfriend to enter another arch fey’s territory.
By the next week she had a contract as penned by my character in her inbox. I think it was 10 pages single spaced. She still has it. 🥰
Oh gosh, idk about “most” lol. I kept an in character diary for one character, for another I made a bunch of short analog horror videos that became cannon game content. For one I recorded a bunch of extra content for a “podcast” he made. And rn I have a cork board with red string on my floor 😅

This character also had a ton of hidden motives and was kinda sorta not nice, so it was helpful to transition out of that headspace.
