Oh now that I’ve thought about it longer, I guess this is more like a digital logic circuit. Whereas the guitar pedal circuits that I work with are purely analog. But this is really neat. What sort of flowchart / workflow software was used to make this?

I'm not sure if it's the optimal way, but I think you could do that with Machinations. It's mainly used for balancing game systems, simulating player behaviors. https://machinations.io/docs/framework-basics
