I think a much simpler explanation for Dem leadership eagerly rubberstamping everything this admin sends across their desks is that they themselves are very conservative and agree that social progress has "gone too far" and therefore are perfectly happy signing off on this entire political program

Something that I think we can all agree on is that the current generation of Democratic leadership is simply not optimized for the Attention Age. Not really their fault! And honestly, they may be better people for it, but it's a pretty pressing political problem.
