I do believe this opens up again the conversation of what the community wants from the FFXIV World Race and what the expectations are from the teams. I will work to create a public conversation with all involved to make more clear rules and a better race scene overall.

2) Require all members of the team to submit clear VODs within 30m to verify
if people want their clears to be legit RWF should be streams only
Stream teams only. Don't even track off stream teams during the streamed charity event.
Post them later if you want, but if they're not streaming for the event, don't even mention them. It always causes confusion and ends up the same, unfortunate way.
Have a streaming and non-streaming category. That's all you need.
Teams that did not sign up for it shouldn't warrant you putting in time, effort and going gray trying to validate their claim.
We all memed in chat, jammed, there was support for all teams on the stream not just the "host" team. Raised a ton of money for a good cause.
A screenshot from a team outside of the event did none of that.
Players will be less likely to do off-stream cheating to get the world first kill if their kill is not recognised by the community.
if they want credit, they have to prove they didn't cheat, simple as. speedrunning communities have frameworks you can look to. It admittedly gets more complex w/8 man teams, though
hell, it feels bad to have someone you've never heard of swipe the win like this even if they didn't cheat.
It sucks the fun out the race if a clear randomly happens even if its legit, much less if its a questionable clear.
Offline clearing is for personal achievements.
