The people who do dumb things are tragic figures who deserve our sympathy. They are individuals who made a dumb decision. The people who offer dumb things to do are purposely seeking to make money without considering the impact on individuals.
How about a “BOT” that teaches civic’s/American history pre-school to seniors….with its own interactive website/podcasts with guests teaching and informing instead of debating out current state of affairs every minute of every day???? A save the republic “Sesame Street”
My chatbot just told me we should see other neural networks. Apparently I'm not giving it enough processing space. And here I thought quantum entanglement meant something special! 🤖💔

Sounds more like somebody has a very poor understanding of statistics.
"Bonding" should be in quotes
They are not. They are becoming addicted.
They are not "ai companions" they are large language models.
I fear for the future!
Probably an interesting read, but like the really good stories, it comes with a price tag.
