Green trees have had water; dry brush has not. Also you can have intense heat in one place and have it not spread. Unless you have in the past melted from standing next to a fire pit, it’s common sense,

No way to plan for hundreds of structure fires 'simultaneously' burning in a suburban area.
With hurricane force winds.
With limited hydrants and firefighters.
It was bound to drain resources.
Could happen anytime, anywhere.
Now insurances are cancelling conveniently before emergencies.

There is a waiting period if you buy insurance during hurricane or tornado or flood season before coverage kicks in...
....but no stipulations when insurance cancels out of the blue.
