The Biden administration moved Friday to negotiate the prices Medicare pays for the blockbuster weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy, medications costing the massive government health program billions of dollars a year.

Gtfo here go to your kings truth social Xcrement or FB but stfu were tired of the gaslighting propaganda lies from you... you forget the simple thing of= WE DIDN'T FORGET #HARRIS or your #NOBLEWINNINGPRIZECARTOONIST who walked out bc your shriveled balls n weak spine
These $1,300+ appetite suppressants cost $100+ outside of US. Nasty side effects. Folks drop them in 3 months and regain the weight. Why are we promoting snake oil?
That's a weird take and not true. 1) It's over $200 in Denmark. 2) Folks who need it should not ever be 'dropping' it after only 3 months. 3) It does work.
“Normal” is a pretty offensive choice of words. I’m overweight and perfectly normal. I tried Wegovy and ended up incessantly nauseous and throwing up four times a day. So sick that I’d wake up in the middle of the night to urgently vomit. I’d say that’s pretty abnormal.
I’m sorry. I just feel normal myself for the first time and had no bad side effects. Wish it worked for you. I didn’t come to Bluesky to offend or argue.
It was made for diabetics. I believe using it as a weight med is off label. Medicare doesn't cover for off label. So what biden is doing is for government programs. That's what I was responding to.
Medicare’s bargaining chips: Ozempic and Wegovy. Why tackle the root causes of an obesity epidemic when you can just haggle over the price of the Band-Aid? The real winner here is Big Pharma’s PR department. #Healthcare #Medicare #Politics
These meds do tackle some causes: stimulates the release of insulin from the pancreas after a meal, which lowers blood sugar levels; and reduces the production of glucagon, ultimately contributing to better blood sugar control
And the drug companies are suing, saying that requiring them to negotiate violates their first amendment rights to free speech. You can't. make. this. up.
Said someone who’s obviously never had a weight problem. The answer is to regulate the prices. Big Pharma are big price gougers. Some people are different, diet and exercise do not work for various reasons. This drug is a game changer and all have a right to afford it.
I can tell you that the only way I’ve ever been able to lose weight without starvation and extreme amounts of exercise is with Mounjaro. I got tired of living like that. I don’t blame anything but the inner makeup of my body for that. This drug can change the world and should be available for all.

Go away.
People really need to come to grips with reality...governments do not have unlimited budgets...and people will die due to budget shortfalls.
I've struggled with weight problems my adult life, but simply do not blame the government or drug companies for them...
Really with drugs you can starve yourself without feeling the pain of being starved.
That does not make my statement incorrect.
