Analysis by Aaron Blake: There’s a vacuum just waiting (and needing) to be filled — and probably, in 2028, we may see the most wide-open Democratic presidential nominating contest since at least 2004.

Is this a serious a newspaper?
Most wide open nominating contest, because Democrats have no one, nothing, not the tiniest shred of hope.
The contenders will be Oprah, a box of rocks, Marianne Williamson, and some white Harvard professor with dreadlocks.
Leave the real news to The Contrarian and other serious news organizations.
If the Dems still do not see the NEED and the potential for fresh candidates, then shame!
Need a new era Obama - not old school, long-established, mainstream politicos.
Canceled my subscription last week. Too many issues seeing compliance/editorial interference wholly unacceptable for this #Journalism icon.
The Post is fading fast.
Check out Media Bias to see the politics of the press site.
(Press, not media: Nixon created media as a derogatory term.)
Media = talking head with one eye on the Nielson ratings.

2. Who buys it.

Broadcasting can be journalism but that isn't necessarily so.
MSNBC does a good job, generally. They are press.
Democracy is over and we need to start thinking and acting like it.
Stop being a fatalist and start contributing to the solution.
People post stuff like this in earnest all the time and it floors me—it’s a form of concession to fascists that I can’t fathom.
We saw how she treats us; AOC, etc.
I am cutting back my support (I gave over $3500 in "24.).
