Well, they had this one and they set him free... Honestly I care less about bringing people to justice than what "justice" is gonna mean going forward, for woman and minority expecially.

I’m a Syrian woman and I have high hopes in the new government. I just don’t understand the double standards of western societies pretending to care for the women now when they haven’t moved a finger in the past.
What makes you concerned now about the minorities of women and children when they were imprisoned, tortured, and raped for the past 15 years under the past monstrous regime.
I hope things will turn out positively: we really need hope in these times and the fall of the previous regime is one of the few positive events happened recently
What I find hypocritical is to remove the refugee status to Syrian people but not the sanctions: if the new regime has to prove itself, it should be on all fronts.
Far from defending western governments, expecially how they're dealing with the region in general, but in this case the debate is about removing sanctions that were made against the previous regime.
