I'm you've ever had a hankering to play a political simulatior/visual novel (sort of), I can't recommend 'Suzerain' enough.

I moved to Android for this reason (among others).
I use Lemuroid and have a ton of ROMS on my phone at all times with savegames syncronized to google drive.
Mobile games are generally trash. I have still dozens of classic NES/SNES/GBA/Sega Genesis games I haven't played.

Oh yeah, I know, I know. Now you can, but I made the switch years ago (I'm old) where iOS options were a bit more limited.
I'm not sure if Lemuroid works in iOS but probably other options like Retroarch work

Looks quite good!
I'm replaying Final Fantasy VI on my phone lately. Save states allow me to play in short intervals, which is ideal for mobile gaming.
Also, there's a milion versions of games like Tetris, Arkanoid etc in old consoles if you want something less intense for the mind.

I like the iron hide games, kingdom rush, and the like, tower defense with a sense of humour, and just difficult enough to waste a few minutes between things.
