I much prefer to watch movies at home because I can actually see what's happening on fast action scenes and quick pans instead of it turning into a slideshow blur. 24fps needs to go away. That's my hill I'll die on 😂
Movies look like they do because they picked 24fps as a "good enough" frame rate, but panning especially at 24fps looks horrible. We can and should want better, not sticking to outdated practices because it's always been done that way.
There is something to be said about allowing an art form to be itself, but that also means we should allow other versions of the art form to compete, as well.
Agree completely. Which is why I think educating on this TV setting and allowing people to pick what they want is better than keeping them ignorant and shutting it off for them. :)
