Montanans:
Bad news: House Bill 320 (Vouchers) passed passed out of the Appropriations Committee with a 12-11 vote.

* Fiscally Irresponsible --this money that should go to property tax relief instead.
* Discriminatory to students
* Full-time public-school students are excluded from the bill.
Discriminatory to parents
Parents who choose to send their kids to public school incur the same expenses for tutoring, travel, supplies, etc. but are excluded
Grows government
Requires Dept. Of Administration resources and time
Duplicative, unnecessary
We already have this in the voucher system established in 2021
Unfair to taxpayers
This money should be going to property tax relief, not to pay for welfare for the wealthy
$4 million dollars and growing every year
That money should be invested in the 90% of kids that attend public schools
No oversight
