I think the Garcia case is a test case. The best hope for setting a precedent for other deportees to argue against their deportations IN COURT in the United States.

There are two additional lawsuits trying to recognize the whole class. Partial success in both the Southern Districts of NY and TX. The ACLU is doing what it can. Congress needs to loudly step in, as the court orders are very precarious and basically being ignored by DoJ.

The Garcia case is a single individual, but attorneys for the kidnapped Venezuelans are using a class action to try and rescue all the gov's victims and provide some cover even for persons not yet in custody. Yeah, it's slow 😖, but it must be done carefully to insure it works now and in the future.
