Trump is hideous, and his tantrum with Zelensky is pathetic & shameful, but even shitposts like this reveal how for many Americans, the prior president & his cronies helping commit literal genocide--the murder of 1000s children even--isn't even a comparable source of shame.

I do think the Trumpists & their oligarch pals are uniquely dangerous, & could destabilise the world in new ways in this historical moment, but yeah, I can't take this utter liberal hogwash about how *today* is the day the US was fully tarnished.
