I use my phone for all my audios. I usually just hold it in one hand while my other is occupied or put it in my tripod and set it on a stable surface.

Phone is the simplest and best way honestly, love. Some folks have mics that they can hook up to their phones, like the AKG I'm hoping to get, but beyond that? Phone is tried and tested 😘

Since rambles are my bread & butter I invested in an Apogee MiC Plus cause I can plug it into my phone/tablet to record my ✨sounds✨. It’s mobile, it’s pretty compact, & it keeps my PC out of the splash zone 🙈
But honestly most phones do a decent job for ramble recording without an external mic 🙂

I honestly resign myself to slightly poorer quality by using my phone. Plop it on the pillow next to my head, and if it ends up really odd sounding, transfer it to my computer for a little clean up.

It makes sense. I think if you apply noise reduction, mouth declick, voice denoise, then reduce harshness, a phone is totally ok. With hotkeys and ozone, that’s about a minute of post. Voila, pro level ramble fap
