Wow! I love that. It’s as if an ocean is splitting apart. Snowy Mountains? I spent a little time there, a beautiful landscape. The snow gums are gorgeous.

Yup, that’s what it looked like when I stood there (and in color). But because the reflection is so clear, upside down the image messes with perspective for a moment. Plus, I like the rocks floating skyward.

I was privileged to live in Mariposa for 13 years, but had to move to the valley after my divorce (oh, well...)--I have an amazing view of the Sierra from Merced where I am now, so I still feel like I'm there most of the time!
