The thing is that theoretically a Volvo 240 *is* a perfect machine, aside from engine mounts that need frequent replacement, a plastic odometer gear behind the dashboard that eventually fails, and an unreliable fuel pump relay. But mine had like five neglectful owners in ten years, so it needs help.
