Continues to validate my observation that the Russian military may put on impressive parades but it’s an unmotivated, antiquated and subpar in power generally.

Perhaps not, but they have a vested interest in Russia for trade as well as a security buffer. North Korea might be a willing ally just because of their insane dictator.

NK troops are starving. Putin is in no position to negotiate for Chinese troops. I’m confident EU or NATO could neutralize Russia. EU is coy about their military.

Agree that Putin’s ill advised gambit has revealed the weakness of his military.

Commentators familiar with the region note China’s economic interest in Russia. Perhaps no nations (outside the Middle East) are interested in wars other than Russia and NK. Not the citizens likely, the despot leaders.
