Once you get the hang of it, you can blast through the more trivial battles and it has a really nice flow. Stunned a group of grunts that you can take out in two turns with basic attacks? Just spam F!
I also noticed that the game doesn’t wait for hit reactions to play all the way through and that makes it feel much more responsive. You can hit an enemy again before they’ve even finished standing up, and it almost scratches a similar itch as real-time combat
