One advantage they have by not already having D1 teams is not many are voting with the expectation that they'd be relegated soon
It's wild seeing the USL Super League claim they're D1 while playing in places that even the pre-covid NWSL would reject
Then again, they've flirted with this so many times, it's hard to tell if they're serious this time. Are they gonna go all the way?
