The sickness forces your brain to basically go "Okay, I gotta finish this before I cees all function" So you work twice as fast
Normally this leads to more mistakes leading to frustration and quickens the brain shutting down. But in your case it just made you more efficient

me personally when im sick I refuse to work

like id rather lie down and die then get anything substantial done

like right now it's early in my semester and ive decided im taking all Fs and making it up later
