Thanks for answering, but sadly, this only furthers my doubts.

GroundNews subscriptions are around the same price as Netflix, which is currently struggling to keep users, and provides a much broadly appealing product.

You're mostly appealing to a left-leaning folks, since most right-wing supporters live in la la land and don't really care about truth or bias in the media they consume, so you're basically axing your potential userbase in half.

If your only source of revenue is from subscriptions, you are likely running at an insane loss right now, after which who knows what you'll do with the user data you've accumulated over the years.

I'm also very suspicious about the whole "offload the responsibility of checking your bias and thinking critically to a third party with financial incentives", ethically, especially with what I suspect is a pretty big ongoing financial deficit.

But that's a different topic altogether...

Based on the surveys we’ve run, our subscribers are actually pretty representative of the US electorate, although we do skew a bit more towards libertarians.

We also have plans at $1, $3, and $10 per month, so there are lower-priced options available.
