It’s in their interest to protect their 6-3 Supermajority, by delaying the Jan 6th trial as far back as possible, and shrug their shoulders if they get the outcome they desire.

IDK what they could do to amend what was a solid decision made by a three judge panel from across the political spectrum.

Decision comes out in June/July, trial is pushed to September/October, but suspended because of the election. Trump wins, orders the DOJ to stop prosecution. Biden had better fucking win.
