I would like it to always be remembered that the Democrats sunk a shitload of money into defeating an actual progressive in favor of Texas Joe Manchin

Fresh off the overturning of Roe, Democratic leadership including Pelosi and the Clinton's flew to Texas to campaign for Cuellar, the lone vote against codifying Roe (who also happened to be under FBI investigation). He defeated Jessica Cisneros by 0.6%. Now he's voting with Trump 100% of the time.
