I don’t know how I’d balance this atm. Places of worship should be protected where necessary but the BBC is a state broadcaster. Were this any other day than a Saturday I’d hope a different decision would have been made.

Policing, at least good policing, should always be a balance. Nobody should want any place of worship harassed (whatever the faith is) and I can see how that concern might arise here. As I said I hope it's just the fact it's a Saturday that's at play here. Otherwise there is a problem, yes.

The guilt of genocide is not based on how much more effectively or not an aggressor could have acted, it is based in their actions alone.

Many "normal" people have concerns, the ICJ has issued warrants, Israel's international reputation is shredded! That cannot be dismissed by rhetoric.
