Is this like getting to be a Yearly sport for policy makers and government.
Cuts to the poor. Cuts to benefits. Cuts to services.
Time and Time again.
You know where we don’t see cuts.
Bankers bonuses
CEO bonuses
Politicians expenses and wages
Private services profits!
There are so many places they could create tax revenue other than cuts & targeting the vulnerable. But the vulnerable are an easy target that they can ignore.
Their billionaire donors have their ears...
I worry that Labour get a majority up here next year. Given Sarwar is beholden to his Westminster masters.
The SNP & Greens are the only parties trying to make life better for people.

I'm still hoping we see an independent Scotland in the next 10 years, as it feels like politically and morally we are (as a country) moving further away from the rest of the UK.
I'm of the opinion once a certain number of boomers die off, we'll get independence as people under 45 overwhelmingly support independence & it's a pretty even split with those 45-65...
Sticking to arbitrary rules (whether you agree with then or not is not relevant) based around a world situation that has changed is stupid and childish.
