The new Avishkar graffiti-style script kinda fucking rules a lot and i hope we get to see more usage of it in the set. like, i want that shit on tshirts and stickers and tattoos.

Man every aspect of the aesthetics of this set make me happy. This script, the colors we’re seeing, the visual energy of happiness and excitement. Excellent vibes set so far.
Listening to this sets stories so far has me hyped WotC is doing such a good job at making it feel like there is an actual big race event that I would want to watch in person
it's vaguely based on Indian scripts, including various descendants of the devanagiri script (used for sanskrit/hindi), like Bengali and Odiya, and also stuff like Tamil/Telugu, and the like. It's honestly sweet as hell how they managed to make something so close but totally fake
I have complex thoughts about fantasy languages/writing systems inspired by non-English cultures being basically "English But Looks Exotic", especially after reading Kara-Tur. But I'm glad you're happy.
They had a fake script in Kamigawa too, though.
(Also, I am very happy to share that wotc did the cultural work here, cause I was one of the consultants)
