Took one more small but important step today: Deleted Twitter from my iPhone.

Good on you, as exciting as getting into a new app is, there’s nothing like the feeling of freedom you get from deleting a stupid app you were basically addicted to
Bluesky was more than an adequate replacement.

--It's still useful for Dem fundraising (at least for now, anyway...this will likely become moot by the midterms)
--There's still a few useful voices over there for now

Twitter has become a toxic cesspool of lies, conspiracy theories, and hate speech.
I’m all for diversity of opinion. It’s hate speech and the diversity of “facts” that I won’t tolerate.
I'm deleting my older tweets although I have no idea whether they're actually deleted from their end or not.
Then Twitter sent me an email saying I could come back for a subscription. I emailed back " it'll be a cold day in hell".
For it to count, you either need to unfollow everyone or deactivate your account.
