A Hyundai Ioniq 6 in the SE RWD trim for me -- a smooth, silent ride, great range, and fast charging. In general, I'd say that most EVs feel like a step up from gas cars, so it is hard to go wrong in picking an EV alternative to a Tesla Swasticar.

Is Tesla actually considered a luxury brand? It's the Toyota of Silicon Valley, tied to many esp horrible deaths & there aren't door handles in the rear seats. There are so much nicer, safer non-fascist vehicles (and more everyday) that others will agree to ride in and won't hate you for driving.

I'm hopeful BYD can more fully come the the US. The competition in EV's from a top tier in the world maker would probably send a hell of a jolt thru the industry to move us more fully electric, plus I liked the cars when I got to ride in them while in Europe.
