I had a friend who ended up with stomach cancer. He died because his insurance company pissed around in finding him the immediate treatment, chemo/radiation, he needed. He waited for months. He was never treated.

My data for how many are in each is outdated, but assuming the proportions are similar this year it would be something like:

FL: ~330K
NC: ~165K
TX: ~200K

Plus another ~305,000 or so across AZ, CA, DE, GA IL, IN, KS, MD, MO, NV, NJ, OH, UT & VA
