Standard pattern:

1. Dems pass good legislation, get little or no credit for doing so.

2. GOP gains power, strips away good legislation.

3. Dems get attacked for “letting” GOP strip away good legislation.

The media is to blame for this in part... which is why we need media reform so badly - and something that we should ask every member, especially Dems that are currently in Congress as well as the Dem candidates who are running for Congress if they support media reform.
