His quote is about his ideals, his life philosophy, "My strength and weakness are one" love and hope are DEVASTATING when they fail you but they're so powerful day-to-day. He chooses to remain kind and optimistic despite it all, it's what got him to Eridia after all.
LILY+LEANDER// they will either be a very cute power couple or tragic pred/prey -coded gothic romance. I'm SO HERE FOR IT. Lily trusts Leander, he sees him as safe, if at times a bit frightening, but he chooses to brush those feelings off, hoping it's just his imagination. Something to unlearn.
good ending: leander honors this trust and chooses to improve or atleast place lilian in the "My Favorite" exception to his behaviorstm category. bad ending. yeag. i love gothic romance like this game i think ill go feral for all of the endings ngl. leander is such a mystery rn i dont have much yet
