Don't most people have credit card debt, at the very least between "paying your bill" and "receiving the next bill" because that's how credit cards work?

I only use credit cards to build/maintain a decent credit score and enjoy additional fraud detection; almost all my transactions go through the cards, and they're automatically paid off every month. I'd definitely say I have credit card debt, but it doesn't look like that on my credit report.
(Creditors decide when to report activity/balances themselves, so this isn't necessarily true for everyone who pays everything off every month. Like, my billing cycle for one card ends on the 22nd; if they for whatever reason report the balance on the 1st, my utilization ratio will be worse.)
