I started playing it for the first time and even though I wonβt be able to finish it by tonight like I originally planned, Iβm still enjoying it a lot and Iβm excited to eventually get back into it!
I backed it on Kickstarter and remember playing it for the first time, but y'all had like, published an incomplete versionΒΏ So when I started playing it was missing assets and had me really confused π
I just started playing the game around this time, too! It was last week Wednesday, and it was just in perfect timing for the Harfest play day. Decided to do the Gregg route since I only did that route once and enjoyed the moments in it the first time around. (also decided to visit all the NPCs too.)
Mae means a lot to me, so thank you. I've changed a lot since 2017, but nitw is always there for a check in.
I don't talk with my Bea anymore, but I always felt spookily represented by the Mae/Bea relationship. I hope my Bea is doing okay.
I mean it's absolutely perfect for Halloween! Very seasonal-feeling. The person who mentioned OTGW is onto something, even if they're really different pieces of art. I can see both becoming a holiday tradition.
(Plus Mae is a great costume choice at various levels of accuracy and dedication!)
It's basically tradition at this point. It's the perfect fall game, plus Possum Springs reminds me of the stagnant town I grew up in, so it's almost like there's some nostalgia thrown in as well.

Itβs nice
Which I guess is kinda silly given the plot
I don't think I've ever replayed it but I've watched the old Super Best Friends LP of it several times
