67% of voters in the UK want to rejoin the EU and 93% of under 25's.

So why aren't we?

One thing is sure: we are waiting for you! πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί
β€˜Cos Keith says we shouldn’t.
I wouldnt blame the EU if they never wanted anything to go with the UK again tbh.
It’s likely to come down to a deal with Trump/US or getting much closer to the EU or rejoining CU and SM. The deal that the US is likely to offer especially on food and other sectors plus pulling further away from EU, will not go down well with voters. Another big showdown in 2026/27 methinks.
maybe 2029 might be a good time
It's because it would need the unanimous agreement of all 27 member states and take at least 10 years.
While there is a chance of a future Farage government they won't even consider it.

Someone is benefiting and the government is complicit
Where’s the statistical basis for this assertion?
Special Enterprise Zones are forbidden in the EU. Introducing them on a quarter-of-a-century lease will make it impossible to re-join anytime soon. 😒
(2.) I also think that the "conspiracy of treason" that has taken us so far, would embarrass the UK Establishment to reverse it so soon. The media, politicians, ennobled elites would have to explain themselves & they wouldn't like that!
Because we are running scared of far right nutters and billionaires.

I mean, challenge them on the single market by using their hero Thatcher!
😑
And yet our masters won't...wonder what corrupt system is controlling them...rich zionists and Russian oligarchs????
Because Starmer would have to rethink his Freeport scheme - it goes against EU rules due to corporations being given public funds.
Starmer's scared to let us have another Brexit Vote, cos he'd have to let Scots, have another Indyref vote & they're terrified to give us 1.

Because nobody is prepared to admit to being a twat.
🎯 plus, EU is gonna play hardball. They are going to want to extract some concessions plus assurances this won’t happen again.
I think you’re right. This is the core of it.
4 pillar criteria to be met under article 49 to join European πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί including pro eu sentiment and good finances. The πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ media are the biggest obstacles here. It will take two terms to get the uk back in the European πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί
Rich billionaires who don't pay taxes
Serious question, given the state of Europe right now why would we want back ? Far right rising fast all over Europe and stagnant economies. I know we are not much better but i see no compelling reason to rejoin.
Because no politician has any balls to put their head above the parapet
We haven't applied as neither the last government or this one has dared. There would probably have to be another "advisory" referendum too. KS has pissed off a lot of pensioners. Given they were influential last time, it's not the right time?
Why didn't they make it illegal to allow a felon to be US president? There's a pattern, it suits the overall agenda of governance..eyes open
Any country can vote to leave the EU but only the democracy denying, Brexit supporting English political class gets to decide who can leave their toxic English Union the UK. Tough eh.
Fear of foam flecked Gammon hissy fits.
The Daily Mail wouldn’t like it.
Starmer says 'No"
Because we don't get to have our cake and eat it. Buyer's remorse gets us nowhere. And the EU wouldn't allow it anyway.

It isn't happening for a LONG time so best to work incrementally towards a better relationship with the EU.
Keir Starmer is obviously a Brexiteer. It's just a personal thing so nothing to do with us πŸ™ƒ
Figures sound familiar

Greed driven #ToryBrexitCoup
should never have happened

Didn’t you vote for Brexit??
