If we have nothing and they have everything, then economic growth will stop. Under those circumstances, economic growth would still be impossible even with infinite resources.

Modern democracy temporarily upset this and wealth was significantly redistributed but in many countries democracy has been reversed and in reality we are significantly less democratic than the Roman Republic or most ancient Greek city-states.

They keep the population from having more because they might demand/expect more. If all a population is doing is fighting for basics, that's not empowerment, and thats perfect. The real power is squirrelled elsewhere.

That's where we are. No one knows where all the money goes.

Offshore and into investments to make the stinking rich even richer. It’s the natural order of things, the only golden blip was after WW2 and into the 60’s. Children of Baby Boomers will be dragged down into poverty eventually. I’ll be buried or repackaged as Soylent Green.

They want to control everything you have or don't have; you will have no entitlement to anything. You either pay the subscription or you don't get it. Keep life at hand to mouth, subsistence, survival level or below
