It’s problem of corrupted capitalism. The promise of capitalism is that the price mechanism leads to optimal allocation of goods is no longer the case. So we have huge build up of power, price fixing and an assault on rights

And by contrast, despite the flaws with their system, people in the former Soviet Union are still using appliances made 40, 50, 60+ years ago and they work fine! Planned obsolescence has got to be one of the biggest crimes in our world! So many things have unremovable batteries now which is not good
