Not to mention a full staff of servants to mind the kids and take care of the cooking & housework. The more their PR machine tries to shove her down our throats, the more I resist.
I'm no royalist but to be fair a mate of mine had a lump on the side his tongue which his dentist didn't like the look of, he was referred to a consultant and was operated on within two weeks. NHS at it's best, but it is a bit of a postcode lottery for some.
I had to stay out of the sun & still have to keep out of it as a stage 4 cancer sufferer.
No sane person would tell a cancer patient to get as much sun as possible.
She is privileged & her diagnosis of pre-cancerous cells etc was blown out of proportion.
Not only that: early diagnosis. I had reached Stage IV before I went to doctor; following diagnosis, timely, excellent & effective treatment on #NHS #Cancer
When money is no object and you have access to the best medical care most people don’t have this available to them.
I would find that advice she gave offensive.
On the news they made a big deal about Kate Middleton going through the front door on her visit, compared to when she had to sneak in through the side door because of secrecy.
My sister was treated at the Royal Marsden. What they failed to mention is that private patients go in the side entrance.
The Royal Family and the Prime Minister should all commit to using the NHS. How can they understand if they don’t face the reality of the delays and the rationing of treatments.
A bit mean. Everyone I know like myself living in London has had instant, consistent treatment from the minute we had a diagnosis (also quick if you send off the test kit for over 60s). I know it's not the same all round the country, but our training hospitals couldn't be better. Thank you NHS!
Notice how she is steering clear of macmillan. Unreal how exposing the duchy of Cornwall made zero difference. We really need to act better as a group.
And she could even add voice to the lobby to pep-up the NHS. It's not about politics, it's about healthcare. I'd like to see Streeting fob her of with BS.
Vitamin D tablets for 3 years should/maybe/maybe not/hopefully, stop that pesky cancer spread. Anyhow by then, it will be terminal.
Australia now charges most (through some weird decision-somewhere) for skin cancer removal. At least it is prompt. Must be a buck in it.
According to sky news and I'm sure she said herself when she was on the bench, it's disgusting to act like you've actually had cancer, karma may come knocking one day

However two friends were recently diagnosed (different Cancers) and had definative surgery within weeks.
That the NHS can still do this even after being eviscerated over the past 14 years says a lot.
Other people l know however, not so lucky & have had a bad time & poor care.
Recently found out my Grandfather was from Strichen. That's up your way isn't it?
For the normal people what would be the treatment?

Other people have important jobs.
