Statistically, it's not a 1 in 5 chance most of us are going to die this year for lack of medical treatment. I get why you're comparing the two things; but the figures don't really mean anything.

The health care in the UK isn't perfect, but it's pretty bloody good most of the time (and yes, that means that sometimes it's not as good as it could or should be).
