Stalin was a state capitalist or bureaucratic authoritarian. Socialism means worker control, but under Stalin, the state owned everything. His rule relied on purges, repression, and forced collectivization, creating a new ruling elite—not even close to Marx’s vision of socialism.

I have very little faith in ppl not horsing power for themselves. There is no such thing as a unified collective ‘working class’ and every group will mimic the other and recent an elite.
