Should there not be some kind of protection from what is a monopoly & unnecessary profiteering, the fact that some of these assets are from British resources and free like the wind should be, all the more reason for public owned power generation. It is a bloody necessity after all, like water !!!!!🤣

Oh, I don't think there was anything flawed about Ofgem's calculation. I think they knew exactly what they were doing considering that those who run Ofgem come from holding executive positions in the power companies. We call that collusion.
