Nationalise energy, reduce bills to break-even cost, increase taxes by the same amount. That would be much fairer than funding the NHS via a levy on electricity.

Just as well Ofgem is 'working to protect consumers' (😏), although when it has stated that prices need to rise more than originally anticipated… I'm struggling to understand how that is 'working to protect customers'. More like 'protecting energy companies' profits'!
