UK police have been told to believe accusations. In other words, to act as if an accusation is the truth. I think it's part of austerity, do away with judges and expensive courts. The public are not supposed to think about it.
Well, yeah- the US justice system has always been fucked. Do you know why the KKK and other far-right extremist groups aren't considered an active threat by the FBI and CIA? Because they're on the same team. We all know it.
Why were JFK and RFK assassinated after promotion of civil rights, but Trump was peacefully elected a second time and his alleged "assasination attempts" were unsuccessful by Republican nobodies? Because the FBI and CIA are complicit with authoritarianism.
Why didn't the FBI and CIA prevent the January 6th insurrection? Why didn't they arrest people on the capitol grounds that day? Why did identifying and prosecuting those people take so long? Because they don't care that much. They did the minimum. They're on the same side.
The sad irony is the shite-hole state of louisiana would let him die hungry on the streets, at least now they pick up the tab to keep him housed and fed for 15 years.
it's also worth pointing out that the homeless man turned himself in, while the rich fuck clearly did not, and the procecutors in the rich fuck's case weren't even trying to get him HALF of what the homeless man got.
In capitalism, the real crime is not accepting exploiting or being exploited, in the end. You never are allowed to not play, and freedom doesn't exist in it.
