Absolutely mental that it took just 1 generation to go from a country where we had so much publicly owned housing, that the council actively offered a place to anyone who needed it but now it's like this, where people wait decades for something we all need. Absolutely criminal!

Apparently 'affordable' where I live is £380,000 for a 2 bedroom house! Not a chance, council rent is about £500/ month for us and that is enough! Private rents are 3x as much!
