I know PC is digital only but at least you can play with all kinds of different specs and mod, even games with Denuvo will often still have mods!

if you've got a sizeable backlog like I do and are unhapoy with the course the game industry is takijg, this is the time to start going through it. I know FOMO is a bitch but you can skip playing games on launch

That's a very good point... I have a decent quantity of unplayed/little played games on both PC and Switch, should probably get around playing those rather than constantly getting new stuff...

no, those are carts that don't contain the games and download them when inserted into a Switch 2 for the first time. you then still need to insert the cart to play the games as they authenticate your license

I think the ONLY reason it's done is to cut costs on manufacturing the game cards, essentially just so companies can get more profits
