Well this is apparently a modified pathfinder 2e, kitsune start with 8 hp + bard with 8 plus Con which for a bard build I'd say is standard of +1, meaning 17 hp at lvl 1, so this hit takes him almost down to half with one strike, dangerous but not lethal nor out of the realm for a boss encounter 😎👍.
