Yahwi-il (& Aduni) is attested as far back as Old Babylonian Akkadian. It appears to be names of actual people, however (a form of ancestor worship?)

The Akkadian examples are not divine names, but verb forms found within names that include Ilu as the theophoric element. Ia-ah-wi-dingir likely means "Ilu lives." There's a discussion here: https://www.jstor.org/stable/25683721

The dingir is a symbol for deity. How the author comes to the conclusion that it’s not theophoric, is baffling.

The author is also comparing it to Hebrew, which wouldn’t appear for another 1000 years.
