Is that in WT mode? I'm only halfway through. The arcade mode ending hints pretty hard that Terry and Ken have a strong connection.

I wonder if some of this is laying the groundwork for a CvS3? I assume there will be asset reuse for it, so it makes a lot of sense to build as many chars now.

Yeah, I'm torn about it. Sometimes I think crossover games are dead because of dev times for games nowadays + how "old heads" can react when the roster isn't as big as the past ones. But I also think tag fighters are a different type of fighter than 1v1, and Capcom knows that. So they might ... ?

Personally, I'd bet more on a new MvC than CvS (despite liking the latter more), because MvC appeals to a different player base and has a larger intrinsic appeal than normal "fighting games". But licensing costs (along with company risk tolerance) might change the equation a lot.
